Welcome on our Homepage

In June we have breeds from our Nosy bé available.
On the 5. of June we have a fair stand in Hamm. Handover there is possible!

On the follwing sites we would like to give you an overview about the keeping from Pantherchameleons [Furcifer pardalis] in  the terrarium.

In a couple of books or in the internet the Furcifer Pardalis is often called a beginer/novice chameleon. This statement affects a lot of people to buy such an animal. In the most cases it appears that the keeping is not as easy as it the new owner imagined.

A lot of the chameleons are highly sensitive and not possible for keeping them in terrariums which have not the right technical equipment..

If you are thinking about to buy a chameleon you have to think twice, because a chameleon not only need much space, time and patience. It is also really expensive for your wallet. You have to make sure that you are in the position to keep the chameleon species appropriate and to serve them.

You also have to recognize that you not only have the chameleon you also have theire food bugs. Chameleons only eat living bugs. Not everybody likes crickets, grasshoppers, roaches or worms. Especialy if the get out and are running across the house. That can make you some sleeplessly nights. Some of them can annoy you with theire clittering.

Only who have the particularize knowing about this animal and can make sure that he can keep them succesfully should get an own chameleon.
We strongly advise against impulsively buying a chameleon.
